About us
What began in 2013 as an experiment was the shared idea of two friends — ceramicist Nato Eristavi and designer Nino Kambarashvili — to found a ceramics workshop.
Even before the workshop was founded, while researching Georgian clay, Nato and her colleagues discovered a local white clay with unique properties. White Studio was the first to start working with white clay. Later, this material was named “Georgian Porcelain” — and the name of the ceramics workshop, White Studio, comes from this very story.
